It’s Black Friday…
and from where I’m sitting, you’d never know it. I can stretch around and peek out the window to see the madness across the street, but unless you were in the thick of it, why would you want to look at it? Lines of cars. People racing here and there. Lots and lots of shopping bags. Naw, I’m content where I am. To be perfectly honest, I’d rather pay more to avoid it all. But that’s just this year, I have felt the urge in the past.

We’re in Oklahoma City today. Curtis is visiting a friend and Mary, Matt and I are chilling at a cool bookstore called Full Circle. I really wish they had one of these in Tulsa. They are playing some great Christmas music, there are two fireplaces going and they have the coolest bookshelves, with those sweet ladders that slide along the wall ‘o shelves. I want a room like this one day. Don’t worry, I’ll invite you over. We’ll drink hot cider and read books. Cuz that’s how I roll. Hehe.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. It is the most wonderful time of the year, after all.
