There’s So Much Going On
I suppose some of you are thinking that I’ve been so busy working that I haven’t had time to blog… well, I haven’t actually started work yet. Ha! I’ve been spending almost all of my time chilling. I guess I got my wish to not work for a month after we got back home. I didn’t expect that to actually happen, but it has, and it’s been so nice. I’ve caught up on almost all of my computer-related projects and I have all of our things organized and properly packed away. It’s going to be fairly easy unpacking everything once we get our own place. Woohoo!
On the whole job end of things… we’ve been waiting for paperwork to go through HR up in Denver. That is expected to be finished this week and I should be starting next Monday. I, of course, will let you know whenever I hear anything.
Another friend hooked me up with some freelance graphic work today. I spent a couple of hours helping them create a logo. It was a lot of fun! He asked me if I’d be interested in helping in the future. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do much more than what my new job will require of me, but I do enjoy graphic work, so we’ll see.
I’ve been listening to Fionn Regan again tonight. If you haven’t listened to him, you really ought. His music is relaxing and chill. Whenever I turn his album on, it repeats over and over and I don’t even realize it. Maybe it just has to do with where I am in life right now, I’m not sure, but I’m really digging it lately.
There’s also some crazy stuff going on with ORU the past couple of days. Some professors have brought a lawsuit against President Roberts and a couple of the other execs up there. It’s pretty crazy. All I have to say is that I love ORU, I didn’t necessarily love that family, and I’m looking forward to see how this shakes things up. Unfortunately, I found only a few of the allegations in the lawsuit surprising. This’ll definitely serve as a wake up call to many people here and in other ministries.

I HOPE it serves as a wake-up call. Richard’s taking the high road in his public response to the lawsuit; but what is he really thinking? We’ll never know until Barbara Walters makes him cry.
Frankly, I pray that this will be a transparent case and that truth will come out!
gillian- you are right. i hope this will serve as a wakeup call, it’s not a definite thing. this is going to be interesting.
