This vacation has been really nice. Matt’s been working on his blog (he’s using WordPress instead of Movable Type) and I got back to re-organizing mine. We’ve both been talking a lot about our company and have come up with some new ideas. I prepared two boxes for shipping home and we’ve watched several Lost Worlds episodes. That’s about the extent of our past two days. It’s been very relaxed and low key! We planned to go to Costco after we woke up today, but it was pouring rain, and, well, it’s no fun standing at bus stops in the rain. It’s cleared up a bit this afternoon, but we’re both quite content right where we are.

I’m going to start a mock pack of everything we have in our four pieces of luggage today, to see if we’re going to be able to fit it all when we come home… in 29 days!!! Haha! I’ve looked through all my books and websites to make sure we didn’t forget to do something cool while we were here. There are several things we didn’t do, but we are happy with what we did do, so we don’t have any major plans for the next few weeks. I’m going to keep training in taekwondo, but I’m not going for the black belt. I should have my red belt by the time I get home, but I’m not even sure the taekwondo academy back home will let me stay at that level or not. I’m actually not too worried about it… I’m mainly in it for the exercise. I am so excited to be coming home… it’s been a long, long time!

Just wanted to jump the gun and be the very first (albeit early!) to say WELCOME HOME!!! I look forward to hearing all your stories over a nice cup of Starbucks when you guys are able to visit me! I’m planning a day trip to the City in autumn (I love New York in the fall), so let’s meet up!

    Love,
    Katrina
