Daisies Make Me Happy

I just finished this necklace. Thanks to myself for modeling it on such short notice.
In high school, I made a bunch of hemp necklaces, mainly chokers. That was a lot of fun. I used to love finding fun and colorful beads to use in new ones. I made a handful while I was in college but then got kind of tired of the book I was using and didn’t have much time to let myself start creating my own.
Lately I’ve been on the prowl for new necklaces. Every time I find something cute there is also something terribly wrong with it. The other day I had this epiphany… I can just tear them apart and make something I’ll actually wear. Yes! So I found this daisy looking necklace that was on a horrible, horrible band… bought it and then found some fun beads at another booth, bought them and some clasps for around $1.50.
Tonight I sat on the bed and made my necklace while watching “The 40 Year Old Virgin”. Well, the movie isn’t over yet, it only took me about 15 minutes to do this… but whatever.

I’m really happy with my new little necklace! Woohoo! It’s simple looking… but that’s the way I like things! I have some other necklaces to put together and I’m feeling in the mood… so I’m going to get to it!

Lookin good. Well done.
thanks, mary!
That expression on your face is entirely too happy for me. It’s unnerving really. Ask Matt if he wants to get a chest/back wax with me when I come up for your wedding in June?
unnerving? i’m not aware of that word ever having been used to describe me (or my facial expressions) before… nice! i truly am a one man show. hehe. is that a complement when my kids say that about me? there are a few classes in particular who do it but i get it from random other kiddos throughout the week…
waxing? only if the asses are waxed as well…
