Fresh flowers are always a treat but I let Matt know early on in our relationship that I’d much rather get a live plant from him.  They tend to stick around longer.

living arrangements in LA had the great idea above.  If I were there, I’d be tempted to get a few.  Instead, I’m on the lookout for some old coffee tins to make a few of my own.
