Keep Austin Weird
Today’s Lightroom tutorials went well. The main thing I learned: I need to take better pictures! I don’t want to do a lot of post processing but I kept finding myself wanting to tweek this and that. Fix this here, fix that there. Little more here, little less there. The final product looked okay but I’d much prefer to take a good picture and then barely mess with it.
When I took all the pictures in Austin, I used Aperture priority. Matt’s to the point where he’s shooting manually. I’m working my way up to that… slowly. :) I need to keep shooting so that I can see which settings to use in different lighting conditions.
A lot of my pictures turn out the way they do on accident. I’d like to change that so the results were on purpose. That’s my current photography goal.
