Iciness

Tulsa got some ice again this year. Thankfully it hasn’t been as crazy as last year. That whole seven days without power thing really sucked. Matt’s classes have all been canceled this week, so we’ve stayed home, all warm and cozy. Well, except for this afternoon, when I realized I didn’t have any Coke in the house. I wanted to walk but Matt wasn’t fond of the idea. He started the car but it was obvious it was going to take quite some time for it to warm up and for us to get the ice off the windows. I oohed and ahhhed out the window at our beautiful winter wonderland until finally Matt said he’d walk with me! Yahoooo!

Un-tasty

We bundled up, he grabbed his camera and we walked to Sonic. It was so much fun! I wanted to lick the ice… tasted like ice. It sure is pretty though. We got pretty cold on the way back but our house felt so warm in comparison!

Here’s Matty in all his chivalry, er, chiverry. He was so cold. Haha!

Matty

And here’s me with my big a$$ Route 44 Coke. It was so worth it!

Happy Winter

You guys are so cute! Sounds like Matt and Jeremy would get along in the cold. I love exploring winter wonderlands, but Jeremy would prefer to stay warm and cozy. Not that I don’t like warm and cozy, but when there is snow I like to enjoy the experience. A couple of years ago we were at Yellowstone for New Years and I wanted to go snow shoeing, but Jeremy would have nothing to do with the idea (and he is the Norwegian you would think his blood would be craving the temperature of the homeland).

Haha, thanks! I’m not one for cold but I figured that since it was here and I hadn’t been out in snow for so long, I should take advantage of the opportunity! I want to go snowshoeing sometime… sounds like fun!
