Soap 101

Matt and I have been working on our business a lot lately. He asked me to teach him to make soap, so that he’d be capable of doing it if necessary. Tonight we went through the whole process together. It was a lot of fun having a soap making partner! We made another batch of Lavender soap for babies and it turned out really well.
We ordered our second load of carrier oils (olive and coconut) and essential and fragrance oils. We already got the carrier oils, which is why we were able to make a batch tonight, and are eagerly awaiting the smelly ones.
Available soon in a month or so: Spearmint-Eucalyptus (minty fresh!), Chamomile Fields (major calm me downer), Adrak Chai (Ginger tea- yum!) and Apple Spice (fall is here!). I want to make them all RIGHT NOW!
I will take 20 of each!!!!
Man, I can’t believe your husband makes soap with you! That is awesome! Jay would never make soap with me…I think he’d rather stick to making buffalo wings instead. LOL!
20 of each… haha. I don’t even make 20 of each at t his point. That cracks me up. I hope you’ll like at least a couple of the scents I’ve chosen…
Sounds Terrific! Boy I am in need of some GOOD soap. Can hardly wait. Sounds fun too.
