When I’m working the late shift, I spend most of my time monitoring baseball games that are riding our network. Besides dealing with any issues, I have to make sure none of the games are taken down before they end. I guess there’d be a bunch of upset people out there if they missed the last inning. I say “Ehhh” but my bosses say otherwise, so I have to watch them. It’s not hard work. The only stress or anxiety I experience is when I think about all of the problems that could arise. And dealing with problems during a live game is not my idea of fun. Back to my point for writing this. With all that I’ve learned about baseball, and all that I’ve come to appreciate about the game, I still find myself sitting here, all alone with my wall of TV screens, wishing they’d hurry up and finish the game.

It is boring but it also means $$ for me, so I’m not too upset. Haha!
